Metro Kids

Our children's ministry has been growing and we would love for you to become part of it. Whether you enjoy working with children or just want to support their learning in some capacity, there is a way for you to give:

 

• Nursery Caregivers: Care for infants through 2 year olds on Sunday evenings once every four to six weeks.
• Children's Assistants: Assist the metroKids teacher with supervision of children ages 3 and up.
• Children's Teachers: Train the next generation by teaching about the character of God and his great rescue plan. (Requires training and initial service as an assistant)
• Security/Walkie-Talkie Holders: Be in charge of getting walkie-talkies to nursery workers each week, making sure they are charged each week and wearing a walkie-talkie ear piece during the worship gathering so that nursery workers can contact you if someone is needed upstairs.
• Books: We want to build up a library for the children. Donations of specific books or donations of money to go toward books are welcome. Specific books desired are My Thankful Heart, My Happy Heart. and Noisy Boater all by Sally Lloyd-Jones. Also the Jesus Storybook Bible by Sally Lloyd-Jones (we would like a copy to send home with each child who doesn't have one).  
• Block Party Hosts: We would like to see family groups, or groups of people host a "block party" for kids in their neighborhood.
